Kalamazoo Animal Rescue, abbreviated “KAR,” was founded in 1991 to rescue homeless cats and dogs. For over 30 years now, KAR has been a soft place to land for animals in need of help, backed by countless volunteers and donors who generously give their time, energy, and financial support.
